Inauguration Programme of Golden Jubilee celebration:
Celebration of Golden Jubilee was inaugurated by a beautiful cultural programme on the 49th foundation Day of the college which is nothing but our holy Independence Day, i.e. 15th August, 2013. The founder of our college Dr. Tinkari Ghosh named our college after his guru the saint Prabhu Jagatbandhu. His renowned Disciple, Dr. Mahanambrata Brahmachari (25 December 1904-18 October 1999), who represented India as a delegate in the Conference of World Fellowship of Faiths, Chicago, U.S.A. (commonly known as Viswa Dharma Mahasabha), laid the foundation stone of the college in 1964. To commemorate the incidence, monks from Mahanam Sampraday were invited on the occasion by the college authority. Sri Upasak Bandhu Brahmachari, President and Sri Gourav Bandhu Brahmachari, Secretary of The Mahanam Sampraday were the Chief Guests of the programme. The then President of the Governing Body, Sri Deboprasad Mukherjee presided over the programme. The day was celebrated by NCC March Past, plantation of saplings of Palash, Krisnachura, radhachura and chatim in the four corners of College ground, dance, music, recitation and valuable speech from eminent guests.
